A Church Without Walls A Place for all People

We Are New Manna

Who is New Manna Church of God?

New Manna is a Bible believing Church with a passion for God and love for our neighbor. We are a multicultural and bilingual congregation building bridges between nations and cultures. Our desire is to reach outside of our four walls and bless our community.

We thank Lord for the local churches that helped us get started and especially the River of Life(formally known as McDuffie Street Church of God) family who graciously served as our mothering church for four wonderful years. There was a wonderful Spirit of cooperation and care on so many levels by our district and area churches.

Confirmation to begin a multicultural congregation came after a period of prayer and fasting by founding Pastor, Rev. Eduardo Nieves. It is evident according to the U.S. Census statistics that South Carolina is benefiting from the immigration of Hispanic laborers. South Carolina led the nation in 2010 with an 147.9 percent change in the Hispanic population. Anderson county has a growing population of over 8000 Hispanics. Hispanic immigrants work not only harvesting produce, but also in various types of construction and landscaping jobs.

It is our desire to bless our community with social action programs sharing care and compassion to those in need. We desire to serve our community according to John 6:35, "And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who come to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst."

We hope to play a vital role in helping aiding our community and serving as a resource to public and governmental sectors.

May we be found faithful to our calling in service to others.
